Chris Plauschinn

Chris Plauschinn, Director of Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions, joined Ricoh Canada in 2003 and has led a number of different roles within the organization. In his current role, Chris oversees both the public and private cloud infrastructure that powers the software solutions offered by Ricoh Canada. In addition, Chris manages the security policy design, technology vendor relations and ISO compliance within Ricoh eDiscovery. Chris is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has spoken at events and sessions hosted by the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA), Canadian Legal Innovation Forum (CANLIF), Canadian Bar Association (CBA), amongst others, on the topic of information security and data privacy. Chris is passionate about implementing new technology solutions as well as maximizing current investments for our clients which helps to inform digital transformation processes at organizations in order to align to the needs of stakeholders and business objectives.

Mekonnen Kassa is a Director in Microsoft Cloud Security Engineering. Mekonnen has worked in the technology industry for over 23 years leading software and service engineers teams in the design, development, and implementation of many business transforming technology products and services. Currently, he works for Microsoft as a Director Cloud Security Engineering and leads a global team of customer experience engineers focused on Microsoft security products. His team engages with enterprises and institutions to help them get-to-production using Microsoft Cloud security products and services focusing to protect and govern data, harden security posture, detect and respond to attacks, and comply with government regulation compliance requirements. He previously worked for Accenture Consulting as a senior technology consultant advising many fortune 500 companies. Mekonnen is a certified information system security professional (CISSP).
